...and our special thanks, so far, go to.....

(At 24th June, fundraising support sits at £2,000 including pledges, which is fantastic and something we really appreciate, it encourages us (rider and crew) to hit the road with even more purpose. This means that the fundraising total is already 1/5th of the way to reaching the target of £10,000 and aligned to the TransAm route, 1/5th of the way (just outside Indianapolis) along the road to San Francisco, our destination!)

As the TransAm challenge draws closer to hitting the road in July we hope to continue to attract interest and support to achieve our fundraising target of £10,000 to help children such as Alfie and Aiden through the continued funding of research into illness and disease that affect babies and children.

So far, our very special thanks go to the support from Scott Sports, Virgin Atlantic and British Cycling for helping to get the TransAm idea off the ground and on a more local level in Essex our special thanks go to Blackmore Apparel, UK Shelving, Cyclebox, First4Commercial, Les Cycles, Central Mortgages, without support most ideas would never become reality.

For helping to kick start the TransAm fundraising campaign to support Action Medical Research our very, very special thanks go to British Cycling, Team SKY, CNP, Eire Eng, Schaefer, ISD, B+K Construction, ISG Construction, MBA, RPS Architects, JLA Architects, Phelan Construction.

We hope to write more names on this post as the TransAm challenge continues and the fund raising continues to grow (and hopefully, pounds per miles, the fundraising will stay ahead of the cycling challenge on the road).

Riding 3000 miles to raise at least £10,000 means raising just over £3 per mile ridden, we look forward to seeing whether the riding or fundraising will reach San Francisco first, a solo cycling challenge of two targets!
